    If you are looking for funny, Sherlock Holmes really isn’t the place to go.

    But if you are interested in Holmes, I’d start with some of Conan Doyles short stories before I ventured into his novels. It will help you get a feel for them and you’ll enjoy something like “The Hound of the Baskervilles” a lot more if you do.
